Jan Lagermand Lundme è un Produttore e il Responsabile dell’intrattenimento per la TV danese DR con l’incarico di Direttore dello show per l’Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Nonostante i suoi numerosi impegni, è riuscito a dedicarci qualche minuto per un breve scambio di battute sul prossimo concorso di Copenaghen.
Sappiamo che far parte dell’organizzazione dell’Eurovision Song Contest era un suo sogno sin da bambino. Cosa ha provato quando ha saputo che avrebbe farte parte del team per il concorso del 2014?
In realtà, ne sono rimasto molto contento. Non avevo mai provato prima una sensazione simile, è stato fantastico e mi è sembrato quasi di morire!
Lei era coinvolto anche nell’organizzazione dell’ESC 2001, uno dei più imponenti nella storia del concorso. Quali differenze ci saranno fra i due eventi?
Ci saranno moltissime differenze, naturalmente. Sarà più moderno e avremo la competizione molto più al centro dell’attenzione e, speriamo, ci saranno più emozioni nello show rispetto a tredici anni fa. Naturalmente la competizione è sempre uguale, bisogna arrivare ad avere un vincitore finale perciò l’ultima parte dello show sarà uguale a quella del 2001!
La Tv danese ha lanciato l’iniziativa #MyEurovisionIdea, ma noi vorremmo sapere qual è la sua “Eurovision Idea” che vorrebbe vedere realizzata.
Ci sono molte idee, naturalmente le vedrete tutte nell’evento di maggio.

Jan Lagermand Lundme is a Producer and th Entertainment Responsible for the Danish TV DR with the role of Head of the show for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Despite his busy schedule, he managed to take a few minutes for a brief exchange about the next contest in Copenhagen.
We know arranging the ESC is a boyhood dream for You. Ho did You feel when You knew that would be part of the team for the Contest 2014?
Actually, I was so glad. I never had the same feeling before, it was amazing and I was close to dying!
You were in the organization of the competition in 2001, one of the most impressive edition. What differences there will be respect to the two events?
There will be a lot of difference, of course. It could be a little bit modern and we will have the competition more in focus and, hopefully, there will be more emotions in the show than thirteen years ago. Of course the competition is the same, you have to find a winner in the end so that last thing will be similar to the show of 2001!
DR launched #MyEurovisionIdea initiative, but we would like to know your “Eurovision Idea” you would like to see on stage.
There are many ideas, of course you can see them in the event in May!
